Tribute to Jag

One day I’ll make it to that place

I hope I’ll see you there

Where everything makes sense to us

And doesn’t seem unfair

I pray that when I get there

Together we will be

Cuz it wouldn’t be a happy place

If you weren’t there with me

I hope someday we make it

And we see very clear   

All of the ways we messed things up

And lost out to our fear 

I know that when we get there

We will walk paw in hand

And never return to that place 

Where we don’t understand 

I hated never knowing

What you wanted me to do

I thought that I was doing good

But it just wasn’t true

I’m sure I’m on my way now

I see that you are too
